
Zack Vojvodic has more than 30 years of international experience in foreign trade and customs, enhancing efficiencies and compliance. After studying International Law at the University of Belgrade Law School, Zack began his career working at the Yugoslavia Federal Customs Administration, leading projects on tariff, origin and valuation issues.
Zack moved to Canada in 1993 and held a variety of customs compliance positions for customs brokerage groups, including Tower Group and Livingston, before joining Mercedes-Benz Canada in 2000 where he led their Customs Department. Zack successfully led Mercedes-Benz in becoming a CSA importer, winning the award for Best Practices in Trade Processes at the I.E. CATIE Awards in 2009.
Throughout his career, Zack has successfully handled importations, exportations, international freight and a wide variety of customs compliance activities for large corporations. He has significant experience in developing operative freight consolidation strategies to ensure the smooth flow of goods and shipping documents, continuously identifying opportunities to reduce import costs and improve efficiency, whilst enhancing internal controls and maintaining customs compliance.
Zack holds both Customs Broker and CCLP/CITT designations.
